  • Tolerates moderate shade

  • Spreads quickly and vigorously by runners ("stolons")

  • Can be sod or plugged

  • Mowed at approximately 3.0 to 3.5 inches in height

  • Allow to grow higher in shady areas if possible

  • Never reduce the height of grass by more than one-third

  • Needs about 1" of water per week during the growing season

  • Water deeply and infrequently, unless there is an incline
