Schedule of Treatments

Our programs are custom designed to fit North Texas including our specially blended formula of fertilizer made exclusively for Gro Lawn. The following is an overview of applications for different grass varieties.

St. Augustine | Bermuda | Zoysia

St. Augustine

Application No.	D E S C R I P T I O N
1	(Early Season) Our first visit will consist of pre- and post-emergent to control broad leaf weed and cool season grassy weeds emerging from the cool season. Fertilization will be administered to relieve your lawn from winter stress.
2	(Early Spring) On our second visit, post emergents will be applied to control spring weeds. Fertilizer will also be applied to replenish valuable nutrients.
3	(Early Summer) On our third visit, we will care for your St. Augustine by treating it with a special organic fertilizer to promote steady growth and resistance to diseases. Weed control will also be applied to control broadleaf weeds.
4	(Mid Summer) On our fourth visit, we will track your St. Augustine and treat it with a mid summer organic fertilization, maintaining its green color and promoting deep root growth.
5	(Late Summer) On our fifth visit, our special blend of organic St. Augustine fertilizer will be applied to aid in your lawn's tolerance of late summer stress and to maintain steady growth and green color.
6	(Early Fall) On our sixth visit, essential micro and macro nutrients will be applied to your St. Augustine to promote healthy growth and carbohydrate storage allowing your lawn to be one of the first to green up next spring.
7	(Late Fall) On our seventh visit, pre- and post-emergent will be applied to your lawn to provide control of weeds emerging from cool season temperature.
8	(Winter) On our eighth visit, we will care for your lawn by treating it with sulfur to lower your lawn's pH level releasing valuable nutrients locked in your soil by slightly higher alkaline levels.
Optional Services	Aerating your lawn twice a year for St. Augustine is a good idea. Spring and Fall are the best times for our area. Aerating will increase your lawn's ability to absorb water and decrease the chance of brown patch from developing. Aerating doesn't guarantee you won't have brown patch, but it will help. Grub Control: in some lawns, a heavy infestation of grubs can cause significant damage to your lawn. This damage can easily be prevented with a Grub Control application made with either Application's 4 or 5. Once damage from grubs is visible, it is usually too late to control them until next year.

Bermuda

4	(Mid Summer) On our fourth visit, we will track your lawn progress and treat it with a mid summer fertilizer maintaining its green color and promoting deep root systems.
5	(Late Summer) On our fifth visit, our special blend of fertilizer will be applied to aid in your lawn's tolerance of late summer stress and to maintain your lawn's green color.
